Sawtry is 11 miles north of Huntingdon and 15 miles south of Peterborough. Both towns are reached via the A1 (M) and its Junction 15 is less than 2 miles from Judith Gardens.

At Huntingdon the A1 (M) links to the A14 and on to Cambridge, just 32 miles away and south to the M11 for London. Trains run from Huntingdon and Peterborough, to London St Pancras taking about an hour, and on to London Bridge and Gatwick Airport. Services also run to Cambridge.
