Parklands is just a stone?s throw from Humber Bridge Country Park, a 21-acre dog-friendly park with a variety of beautiful walks. From there it?s a short stroll to Hessle Foreshore, a scenic area overlooking the estuary, and great hiking routes including the Trans Pennine Trail. A few miles west, Welton Waters Adventure Centre is a popular spot for paddleboarding, sailing and kayaking, and there are golf courses nearby too. For indoor sports you have a wide choice ? go-karting, indoor climbing, and a number of gyms in Hull.

Education

Families with children will be well provided for in Hessle. There are education options for all age groups: several nurseries, Penhurst Primary School, Hessle High School and Sixth Form (just 0.3 miles from Parklands) and Hull University 6.5 miles away.
