The on-site primary school – Skinners’ Kent Primary School was built in 2016 and already has a fantastic reputation locally. The outstanding selection and quality of secondary schools in Royal Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area is also no secret.

Transport Links

Knights Wood sites on the edge of Tunbridge Wells and is within easy access of the area’s major transport links.

There are two railway stations to choose from. Tunbridge Wells and High Brooms, so even during off-peak times there are four services an hour to London with direct services to Charing Cross and Cannon Street within an hour.

For commuters you can also take advantage of the Knights Wood shuttle bus that provides an AM and PM service to and from High Brooms station, for residents this service costs just £1 each way.

As of April 2018, Knights Wood is delighted to welcome the Centaur Coach on their new 793 flyer service. The new route offers two weekday peak time pick-ups from Knights Wood at 6.24am and 6.59am. The service continues to Tonbridge before running fast to Canary Wharf, arriving at 7.34am and 8.09am respectively, then continues into Central London. With an annual fare of £2,917 (from any stop), compared to an annual train season ticket from High Brooms (£5,232 including Underground travel), the Centaur service offers a cheaper alternative to the train, plus a guaranteed seat and additional facilities such as free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and USB charging points.

For drivers, a road improvement system has already taken place so there is now an efficient dual carriageway to the East of the town and through the successful retail park. Main vehicle access to Knights Wood is from Knights Way via Longfield Road. The developments close proximity to the M25 affords easy access to both London and Gatwick airports.
