Formed in 2001, Trent & Dove is a Housing Association, otherwise referred to as a Registered Provider (RP), providing affordable housing for rent and shared ownership across East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
With effect from the 1st April 2009, Trent & Dove Housing Limited became a charitable industrial and provident society registered with the Financial Services Authority.
Improving Standards for All
Through a targeted development programme in line with our customers’ identified needs, we have replaced unsuitable buildings, re-modelled our housing stock and successfully delivered a comprehensive 5 year improvement programme ensuring our properties meet and often exceed the Government’s ‘Decent Homes’ Standard.
Significant investment in new homes and major upgrades include 40 new homes at Dallow Street in Burton, 41 in Alexandra Road, Swadlincote plus a £3m remodelling and upgrade of the Elizabeth Court sheltered scheme.
Additional Support
Alongside the routine management of our housing stock, we also offer and maintain the firstCall 24/7 community alarm service and offer Sheltered Housing (Retirement) schemes throughout East Staffordshire. To complement these services, we provide specific needs support for our more vulnerable residents by actively working with specialist partners.
With an annual turnover of over £25 million we employ over 150 people and play a significant role in supporting the local economy and community.
