The business was established in 1887 by Harry Jas Burt a well respected auctioneer, land agent and valuer. The firm has been through many changes over the last 110 years (many will remember the name Churchman Burt) and was re-formed as H.J. Burt & Son in 1993.

We are based in the heart of West Sussex with two offices in prominent High Street positions, one in the old market town of Steyning and the other in the village of Henfield.

In 2016 Linda Davis and Mark Philpot, two industry professionals with 30 years combined knowledge and experience in estate agency, got together and decided they wanted do things just a little bit differently!

Hamilton Graham was founded by Nick Hamilton in 1989 and became a partnership in 2000 when Angus Graham joined the firm. Angus has over 30 years' agency experience, having previously been the local director of a national Country House agency.

Following Nick's retirement, Hamilton Graham is now headed by Angus. The firm has a proven track record of success in both sales and lettings, from studio flats to fine period houses in the town. Angus and his team have an extensive and intimate knowledge of Steyning and the surrounding areas.

Hawke & Metcalfe was formed in 2003 when Nick Hawke and Greg Metcalfe took over the premises of a well established local Estate Agent.
