Introduction
If you haven't guessed it yet, Alex & Matteo Estate Agents is named after its proprietors, Alex Smith and Matteo Donna.As experienced estate agents immersed in the London property market and with many years at traditional high street agencies under our belts, we joined forces in 2019 to create the agency that we wanted to work at. Since then, we are proud to have grown a talented team of individuals who bring a wealth of diverse experiences to the office, share in our passion for properties, and are devoted to providing a service that is as savvy as it is sincere.
As an award winning independent estate agency in South East London with a commitment to client experience, our mission is to maximise the return on your property while never losing focus on our core values of honesty, community, and customer satisfaction.

Matteo Donna MNAEA - Director & FounderLike many Londoners, I moved to this city more than a decade ago with big goals and an equal measure of fantasies. With a background as a building engineer I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in London's ever changing property market and have one a number of estate agent awards. For years now I've been coming up with ideas about how the property business could be improved to offer our clients and neighbours the best experience. Over the years, South East London has become the centre of my life. My wife and I bought our first home on Cherry Garden Street in Rotherhithe, where I am proudly part of the residents association. This is where I celebrate big life events and spend most of my time with family and friends. So, when several years ago I thought about starting a company, there was no other place I could even consider. Luckily, my friend and business partner felt the same! -

Alex Smith - Director & FounderI moved to London in 2010 from Devon and used my passion and personality to jump headfirst into the industry at a young age. With many years of experience on my side, starting a company felt like the best way to harness my energy, knowledge and continued curiosity about an industry that has really stood the test of time. My friends and colleagues all know that I'm not enjoying myself unless I have a challenge to overcome. Real estate is certainly not short on challenges, but I have kept the momentum going through physical activity and sport. I have completed two London marathon and The Lands End to John O'Groats cycle challenge in support of Cancer Research UK. -

Foivos Tzavalas - Sales and Lettings ManagerSince I can remember, I always wanted to move to London in order to chase my dreams. I managed to do that weeks before my 18th birthday and from then on I couldn't see myself anywhere else. I started sales jobs while I was in university and I quickly realised what my strong suit was. After many years in the hospitality industry, I managed to climb the ranks from a waiter to a reservations manager and that's when I realised where my heart was, properties. I was always fascinated by the UK housing market from a young age when I used to see all these shows on TV with my family. Since I started working in the property industry, my whole world has been absolutely rocked. The whole duration of my stay in London has been in the South East which I proudly call home. -

Cara Brown MNAEA - Sales ProgressorI moved from Cornwall to London in 2020 for my BA English and Drama and have been here ever since. I knew I wanted to have a city life and London was the best place to do that as it's a city that is constantly changing.With my background in drama, I knew I wanted to do something that involved interaction people which is how real estate came to mind. The London housing market is something that intrigues me, as I know it can be difficult to relocate around in London and find a property that works well. I knew I wanted to work for a company that prioritised people in this process, and this is exactly what Alex & Matteo do.In my free time I enjoy training Jiu-Jitsu which is something I picked up whilst studying for my degree. I also make sure to keep up with horse riding, something from my country roots. Living in London has allowed me to enjoy another passion of mine, music. I make sure to go to a variety of concerts across London! -
