    Bicester
    This historic market town is now one of the fastest growing areas in Oxfordshire. Aside from being home to one of the UK's most-visited attractions, it's also blessed with beautiful surrounding countryside.

    You can't miss the distinctive honey-coloured stone villages decorated with picturesque scenery, ideal for exploring on foot or on bike. Classic car enthusiasts will be joyous when they visit Bicester Heritage; it's literally like stepping back in time. We highly recommend their open days, which are held a few times a year, when you can look inside their workshops to get a glimpse of their latest restoration.

    The charm of the town lies in the number of independent stores, cafés and bars in quirky period properties. Wander through the streets and you'll find thatched roofed homes, tiny cottages and 16th century buildings, together with a warm and caring community. Its location is also a big attraction, due to its easy access to the M40.
