    Getting Started...
    Whether you're a first time buyer, a home mover or a landlord you'll need to know what your budget is and how much money you can borrow. We can help you with this by setting up a consultation with one of our fully qualified independent Mortgage Advisors, where you'll soon know how much you can afford and what the monthly payments will be. Our advisors will also provide you with what's called an 'Agreement in Principle' certificate. You'll need this as proof that you can obtain a mortgage to show other estate agents before they will accept an offer from you.

    Now that you know how much you can borrow and you've got your proof of mortgage, you can start viewing properties. You need to know which areas you want to live in, how many bedrooms you need, your maximum budget and which type of property you want. We will enter this into our system and you'll be kept constantly updated with our latest properties via text, email and phone.

    Make an Offer
    Once you've found your dream property, you'll need to make an official offer through our sales negotiators.

    Choose a Solicitor
    You will need to instruct a solicitor to carry out conveyancing. We can arrange for our recommended solicitors to take care of the sales progression.     Apply For Your Mortgage
    Now that you've got an offer accepted on the property you wish to purchase, it is imperative that we apply for your mortgage as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays. It can all be done within an hour and generally you'll need the following proofs:

    -3 Months Pay Slips or 2 Year Accounts
    -Proof of Deposit

    Sales Progression
    Your file will be assigned to one of our sales progression team who will endeavour to look after your every need through the buying process. They will advise you and negotiate on your behalf throughout this process, keeping you informed every step of the way.

    Valuation or Survey
    When the mortgage company has approved the initial mortgage application, they will instruct a survey for Mortgage purposes, to ascertain the condition and value of the property. Your chosen lender will contact us to arrange the inspection, and if everything is satisfactory, you can expect your mortgage offer to follow shortly after.

    Mortgage Offer
    Following the successful completion of the survey, your offer will be produced and sent out to you and your solicitor.

    Signing of Contracts
    Once the solicitors have received all the information requested, prior to exchange of contracts, both sellers and purchasers will be sent the contract to be signed in readiness for the exchange.

    Exchange of Contracts
    Once everybody in the chain has signed the contracts and solicitors have received everything needed, they will then instruct a formal exchange of contracts. All parties need to agree on a completion date and then the solicitors can exchange on the property, which means everything is legally binding.

    Hi, my name is James!

    My Passion for 'property' began many years ago when I became a landlord of a popular local pub in Astwood Bank. This happened just after I completed my professional football playing career for Shrewsbury Town. I then went on to be active in the property market by successfully selling houses and worked for a large corporate estate agent in Redditch for nearly a decade in which I swiftly progressed through the ranks.

    Then in 2010, in association with a friend, Arden Estates was formed. Together, our wealth of experience helped build this successful company.

    So, when I'm not working (which is a rarity!) I still take great joy from my other passion - playing football and nowadays spending valuable time with my son and family.

    Hi, my name is Tina!

    After graduating in Accountancy, I completed my CeMAP and began my career in financial services. I then went on to become one of the first employees of Arden and have witnessed, and been part of, its growth right from its infancy to its current successful position. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, and subsequently the satisfaction of seeing the company grow and helping it flourish.

    I have a rather versatile position at the company! Alongside my main role, which is to process mortgages, I manage the daily operations of Arden.

    To wind down from a strenuous days work, I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with friends and family. Although I must say, my real passion is following my favourite team, Liverpool FC, and I thoroughly enjoy travelling to Anfield to support them live!

    I started my career in Estate Agency during 2010 working in Lettings, in Solihull, and have since moved to explore Sales after joining Arden in 2014.

    What I love most about my role here at Arden, is forming new relationships with vendors from instruction right through to finalising an offer with applicants. Each vendor is different and guiding them through the process is very rewarding!

    Hi, my name is Danielle!

    I started working as a Sales Negotiator for Arden in Redditch in 2016. Before I worked at Arden I was a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and behaviour issues and before then managed a local pub so I love meeting different people and helping them.

    My favourite part about working for Arden is finding people there dream home and seeing how happy it makes them. I especially like helping first time buyers find their first property, as there is nothing more exciting than getting on the property ladder!

    Outside of work I enjoy socialising with friends and spending time with family. I also enjoy taking my on long dog walks in the surrounding countryside.

    I thoroughly enjoy my role at Arden Estates Redditch and feel I gain valuable experience with every new week. It is a fantastic feeling to be part of the buying and selling process and seeing people I've built a relationship with move on to their ideal property.

    Hi, my name is Rachael!

    I am a Sales Progressor based within the Redditch office. After previously working at a local estate agent as a sales negotiator, I originally joined the Arden team for a similar role. I'd always been interested to see how things unfold once a sale has been agreed and as soon as a position came up in the sales progression department, I jumped at the chance of a new and challenging role.

    The most fulfilling element of my position now, is that I am able to take some of the stress away from our buyers and sellers by handling as much as I can with the solicitors during the sale process. It's always lovely to see a sale through to the end and to let the buyer know we've had key release and that they can come collect the keys to their new home!
