I cannot speak highly enough of the service we have received from Beecroft Estates and Donna in particular. Just a few weeks ago, we were novice landlords looking to purchase our first Buy to Let Property, when we rang Beecroft from outside a potential property. On that occasion the property didn't meet our requirements but the agent took the trouble of finding out just what we were looking for and discussed districts we might not have considered being unfamiliar with the area. As we were looking to acquire a rental property, we were invited to join their Investors Club and Donna contacted us to introduce herself and explain how the club could help us in our new venture. She was knowledgeable, reassuring and confident in being able to assist us. Our initial view was rather sceptical, mistakenly thinking this was "out of our league". How wrong we were! Within days, she text with news of an outstanding offer, -to purchase a new build property at an unbelievably good price. She happily supported us throughout the process, encouraging us to view quickly to secure a purchase, helped with acquiring a reputable solicitor familiar with liaising with the Builder, contacting staff at the site office (even at weekends!) not to mention being a great source of advice at anytime of day. In short nothing was too much trouble, even keeping fingers crossed for us as we approached the completion date! As we came close to losing our nerve at times, she was always positive, supportive and confident that we could achieve our goal. Within 5 weeks of our initial tentative enquiry we are now the proud owners of a fabulous 2 bedroom property on a very impressive new development, excited about putting little extra touches in place before renting it out at a very impressive yield. Having taken early retirement and with capital to spare my wife and I decided to boost our income by investing in buy-to-let properties. A good friend suggested looking in the Barnsley area where he lives and has a large investment portfolio. He introduced us to Beecroft Estates in May 2012 and we have never looked back! We now have a portfolio of 16 properties, 15 of which were purchased through Beecrofts. All are managed for us by Beecrofts and their service from purchasing, finding tenants to ensure the properties are fully let, apart from the odd voids, collecting rent and keeping an eye on the properties has been excellent - so much so we will be looking to purchase more properties through Beecroft Estates and look forward to a continued friendly and efficient relationship with them.
