    About Amersham

    Amersham is a scenic town located in Buckinghamshire, 27 miles northwest of central London. Due to its proximity to the Capital, Amersham is popular with those commuting into the city. In contrast, the nearby Chiltern Hills provide a sense of rurality and green open spaces for local residents to explore.

    Those wishing to travel to the Capital have the option of using the underground Metropolitan line or the overground Chiltern Railway. Both services operate from Amersham station and can get you to London in under an hour, with the overground trains taking just under 40 minutes to arrive in London Marylebone. The M25 and M40 are also conveniently located nearby.
