    About Finchley

    Finchley is one of London's greenest suburbs and is ever popular with young families, long-term residents and commuters. It is located just 7 miles from Central London, making it an ideal location for those working in the capital. Thanks to the Metropolitan Green Belt, Finchley has retained much of its former character and also lots of green spaces that are spread across the area.

    Finchley is served by four underground stations, including East Finchley, Finchley Central, West Finchley and Woodside Park. They are all located on the Northern Line and provide easy access to the financial district and also the West End. There is not an overground station in Finchley itself, but the nearby New Southgate and Alexandra Palace stations run services to King's Cross and Moorgate. The A406 North Circular is also close by to Finchley, providing easy road access to the M1 motorway in just over 5 minutes.

    There is plenty to do in Finchley and the surrounding area, especially with Central London right on your doorstep! For those who enjoy exercising there is the Avenue Tennis Club and Finchley Lido. Alternatively, if you fancy a spot of golf there is the Finchley Golf Club nearby.
