    About Witney

    Witney is West Oxfordshire's biggest town and is located on the banks of the River Windrush. With plenty of character and modern amenities, it isn't hard to see why it is such a popular place to live. Witney does not have its own train station however there are several nearby, including Combe, Hanborough and Finstock, which all sit on the Cotswold line and provide access to Oxford city. Oxford station is also just a 22 minute drive away, where you will find services to London, Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham. Road access is just as convenient, with the A40 providing access to Oxford city and continuing on to the M40 motorway.

    There are plenty of things to do in Witney and you are sure to find something to suit the whole family. For those that love to indulge in a bit of retail therapy there is the Langdale Court Shopping Centre, home to a range of independent shops and businesses. There is also the monthly Farmers' Market that take place on the 4th Friday of every month, where you will find lots of fresh, local produce to purchase.
