Chequers, Basingstoke

Chequers were recommended to us after we'd had issues trying to sell our house through Purple Bricks. Our friends who had used them for two house sales and were full of praise for their quick and efficient service. Chequers completely lived up to their billing; the house sold within two weeks and two viewings and they were a pleasure to deal with throughout. I'm writing this review from the comfort of my new house and very happy to recommend Chequers to anyone.

We've dealt with a few agents in Basingstoke, Gascgoine Pees being by far the worst and Chequers being by far the best. We have both bought and sold with them, different houses, 6 years apart but the staff hadn't changed. When we bought with them they were instrumental in keeping a tricky chain together communicating daily up and down the chain. With selling they were very thorough and professional and dealt with some tricky buyers who were at times taking the Mick. I can't recommend them highly enough. With other agents you get a slick bloke some to value your property and then the admin staff in a central office managing the sale. With Chequers the sale is seen through from start to finish by the same staff. Always answer the phone and reply to emails - top marks

Chequers and the team were great in our buying and selling of property's in particular Mark. When we were looking we viewed property's from a number of major estate agents and the service I can honestly say was nowhere near the standard of Chequers. From start to finish our sale and purchase was handled with competence and professionalism. There were obstacles of coarse but these were all resolved quickly, communication from Mark and the team was second to none. We thank you all so much.

I bought a flat through chequers and the service was amazing, so friendly and helpful, there were a few problems with the sale ( nothing to do with chequers ) and the staff were so quick to update me, I was also trying to sell a property at the same time and so wished I had used chequers instead, I have no problem in telling people how great they are and how they treat you so well

had viewed approx. 10 properties and dealt with about 5 different agencies which provided less than mediocre service. I was massively disappointed with a shocking disinterest agents were showing during open days in a property they were supposed to be selling and somehow promoting but also to me as a potential buyer . Lack of basic information, professionalism, customer focus approach well forgotten. Until, thankfully, I met Steven and Mark who both appeared to me as a breath of fresh air from the minute I met them! Professional, respectful, patient. The purchase went smoothly, they kept me informed and updated on a regular basis. First class grown-up service. I would highly recommend Mark and Steven and would definitely use them again.
