    The Office occupies a prime location right in the centre of the village that provides prominent, accessible and effective display space for our properties and services.

    Opened in 2006, the office deals with all types of properties ranging from flats through to large country homes in and around the village and wider environs, as well a wealth of New Homes. Set close to the Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex borders, Clarke Gammon in Liphook covers an area that stretches from Liphook, up to Headley, Headley Down and Grayshott, down to Rake, Liss and Petersfield and across to the South Downs villages including Milland and Rogate.

    In early 2021, Clarke Gammon Wellers re-branded, dropping 'Wellers' to become simply Clarke Gammon. Today, Clarke Gammon combines its long experience, a wealth of local knowledge and the professional expertise of its partners, managers and staff to deliver an exceptional range of services across all sectors of residential , land and new homes , rural, agricultural and professional services

    About our area...
    Liphook

    Liphook is surrounded by glorious countryside in every direction, set in East Hampshire and lying close to the Surrey and West Sussex borders. This three county setting is renowned for its beautiful scenery of rich and varied woodlands and colourful heaths. Much of the land in and around the parish is owned by the National Trust or set in the South Downs National Park.

    There is a huge network of footpaths and bridleways to be enjoyed, including the Sussex Border Path, the Shipwrights Way and Serpent Trail which cross the elevated Weavers Down, beautiful Chapel Common, Iron Hill, Stanley Common leading to Linchmere and Marley Commons. The National Trust's Conford Moor, Passfield and Waggoners Wells are also nearby whilst within the village itself, Radford Park straddles the River Wey and features parkland and woodland walks.

    From Liphook we cover a wide area including the villages of Bramshott, Milland, Headley & Headley Down, Grayshott, Hill Brow, Liss and Rogate. For the commuter, trains to London from Liphook's mainline station take just over an hour, whilst the A3 which was greatly improved in 2011 by the opening of the Hindhead tunnels provides superb road links to the south-coast, Guildford, M25 and London. Liphook is also well-placed for the nearby towns of Petersfield, Haslemere, Godalming, Farnham and Chichester.

    Bramshott

    Bramshott is a small pretty village, offering a lovely selection of charming cottages and houses. Just a short distance from the A3 junction the village is surrounded by a network of footpaths, featuring riverside woodland and farmland walks.

    The village is perhaps most renowned for its historic church and the quietly thought provoking Canadian War Graves which are tended by the War Graves Commission.

    The village is also well-known for its community spirit with its annual open gardens festival being one of the village highlights. Bramshott itself lies just a mile or so from the centre of Liphook and offers all the delights of small village life, but with the benefits of superb facilities and amenities close to hand.

    Headley & Headley Down

    Lying just three miles to the north of Liphook lies Headley/Headley Down and Arford a semi-rural yet residential environment adjoining the National Trust and Ludshott Common with its extensive bridleways and footpaths. The area offers an extensive variety of property types and within Arford there is a country pub with riverside garden and attractive selection of cottages.

    Nearby, Grayshott offers more comprehensive amenities, including national and independent shops, school and easy access to Hindhead Commons, The Devils Punchbowl and Hindhead Tunnels.

    Hill Brow & Liss

    As you travel southbound on the old London to Portsmouth Road, you encounter Liss and Hill Brow, set in the South Downs National Park and once again offering many miles of footpaths, the area offers an impressive variety of homes, starting with the first time buyer apartments, all the way through to large country houses. Liss Village Centre offers a good selection of shops which cater for day to day needs, as well as a school and mainline railway station. Hill Brow offers some lovely views towards the Milland Valley with many walks across Durford Wood and Rogate Common and easy access to the market town of Petersfield which lies just to the south-west.

    Milland

    To the south of Liphook and just across the border into West Sussex, Milland is the quintessential English Village with a public house, local shop, Infant School and village green.

    Set in the South Downs National Park and surrounded by open farmland, Milland is perfect for those wanting village life, but with accessibility to the area's road and rail networks and the nearby towns of Petersfield, Midhurst and Haslemere.

    Nestled in the Milland Valley, the surrounding area is noted for its many fine country homes and within striking distance are many pretty hamlets such as Borden Wood, Redford, Iping and Steadham.

    Just to the north of Milland lies one of the areas historic country estates Hollycombe, which now features the Hollycombe Steam Collection with one of the largest collections of working steam powered fairground rides in the country. The nearby Iron Hill, Stanley Common and Linchmere Common offer miles of interrupted walking country.

    After twenty years in estate agency, Steve Cook joined Clarke Gammon as a Partner to open the Haslemere Office with Mark Steward in 2003. Steve has a wealth of local property knowledge and expertise, having joined a local property developer in Haslemere shortly after leaving school. Five years later he became an Estate Agent with a large corporate agency in Farnham, he was appointed Branch Manager in 1987 and later an Area and Local Director. In 2006, Steve was responsible for the overseeing and opening of the Liphook Office, where he has now been based since early 2018. Initially his responsibilities were to manage the large quantity of new homes the office was dealing with and more recently has been focusing on the mid/upper end of the market in Liphook and the surrounding villages, to which end the office has enjoyed its most successful year for second-hand sales since its opening. Steve is head of Group Sales and is also responsible for the company's Human Resources and ensures the reputation of Clarke Gammon is maintained through the appointment of high quality staff. Steve has lived in Haslemere since 1972 and his home is on Marley Common, where he has lived for nearly thirty years with his wife. He has two sons, the eldest lives in Australia and the youngest is a Graduate Project Manager based now in Haslemere. Steve is a member of the National Trust, loves visiting country houses and enjoys rambling and coastal walks.

    From his first role in 1982 as an office junior in Guildford with one of the country's largest independent estate agents, Ian has witnessed all the highs and lows of the property market over the last thirty five years. Working across the area in Liphook, Haslemere, Grayshott, Farnham, Alton, Godalming and Guildford, Ian has lived in Liphook since 1999 and provides enthusiastic and attentive service to both vendors and buyers. Having worked in the area all his adult life, his extensive local knowledge of the village and its amenities is appreciated by colleagues and clients alike. Ian is married with two sons, both in the local schools and is an active and well known participant in village life. Ian is also a keen music enthusiast, rugby supporter and a regular visitor to North Cornwall.

More recently she worked for many years as an Office Manager for a small company near Godalming and also some time as a Weekend Sales Assistant for another local Estate Agency. Now settled in Liphook Jenny enjoys many leisure pursuits including gardening, country walks with her dog, keep fit, yoga, travel and foreign languages.
