  I was in Glasgow last week looking for a flat for my daughter. I haven't moved house in 25 years and have never bought property in a city. I had no idea how quickly property moves in Glasgow.I was in and out of lots of property offices, made appointments to see lots of flats and felt quite overwhelmed. I found the staff in the Byres Road, office, incredibly helpful, patient and kind. Lisa and other staff, took the time to ask how I was getting on and provide further help.A lovely viewing lady called Julie, showed me around the properties and explained the ins and outs of buying in Glasgow. Julie recommended and showed me, three properties, that I wouldn't have viewed. Their service was excellent and I found the 'MyClyde' web logs and updates to the process particularly helpful as I was selling on behalf of a relative and doing so from outside Glasgow. Being able to log on to see the viewing appointments live on their system was great. The log entries for comments left by viewers really helped to see what was happening from a distance.I found the whole process smooth and understandable and a good sales price was achieved in only a few weeks. I was offered a choice of fee options and found the fees very competitive.
