    3 Tips for Tenants
      1. Before viewing a potential rental you should make a list of the facilities you require in your new home. You may be looking for a flat or detached or semi-detached property; you may need a garage for your motorbike or car, a garden for your pet or children, more than one bathroom; furnished or unfurnished, near to a school, close to transport links to name just a few. Providing us with a list like this will allow us to filter the rental properties so that you only view those that have the facilities you need.
      2. Once you have found the right property you will often have to be prepared to act quickly to secure it. Our friendly team will discuss with you the terms of the rental agreement, the monthly rent and the amount of deposit required. You will be asked to provide an administration fee so that references can be taken up and once this is paid the property will no longer be marketed. Typically the reference process will include a credit check, previous and/or current landlord references and employer references. You will also need to provide identification. Once we have received the references you will be required to pay a deposit and one month's rent in advance.
      3. Make sure you are in a position to move fast. There is little point in viewing a property for rent 6 months before you need it because you can be certain it will have gone to someone else well within that time period. Landlords want to realise rental income as quickly as possible and good rental properties are snapped up quickly.
