In normal businesses, a supplier usually has just one target customer, but with the Letting Business, there are two sets of customers, the owners and the tenants, and, in the main, the needs of these two customers are mutually opposed. I think the basis of their success lies in the name. They are indeed a crucial part of a partnership, between the landlord, the agent and the tenant. When I first rented the property out I used a different company, who provided a very poor service & one time they even lost the keys to the property. However since joining the Carrington partnership I have never looked back. The staff are friendly & helpful, Checks are carried out to make sure the property is well maintained & any faults are reported back, and as I don't live near the property reliable companies are used to get quotes to do any repairs which means I don't have the hassle of looking myself, and at no time is anything done without my approval.

We have used The Carrington Partnership to rent out my nephew's property since 2007. It was especially important to us to use an agency that would really care about the right tenants as the house is his inheritance after losing his Mum. Joanne, Mark and the team at the Partnership have placed three sets of tenants in recent years. They regularly check the property and update us when necessary. They helped us make sure we had the right insurance and plumbing and boiler cover to make sure our let went smoothly. We have recommended them to friends and relatives as both landlords and tenants and all have been treated with the same level of old fashioned courtesy and received excellent advice. From the care taken in the screening for a suitable tenant ,to the regular updates on the inspections of the property,Carringtons work with the landlord and tenants interests at heart, at all times.Whenever work has been required they have provided local trades people at a fair cost . The service from Joanne and the team at Carrington P'ship has been second to none. I have had a number of properties listed with them over the last 7 years and the quality of the tenants, maintenance and communication is far superior to any other lettings agency I have had to have dealings with in the Stockport area. When I entered the Buy-to-Let market 11 years ago I was put in contact with Joanne at The Carrington Partnership. From my first meeting through to the present day I have found both Joanne and all of her staff to be superb to deal with. All emails, telephone queries etc are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently. I have always been particularly impressed by their scrupulous honesty and fairness in resolving any issues with tenants. Furthermore, Joanne can handle difficult negotiations with ease and a gentle authority. My rental income is always paid on time and any deductions for repairs or insurance payments are clearly substantiated. I live 200 miles away from the property, so it is very important to have somebody I can trust locally. The Carrington Partnership fits the bill perfectly. Generally they just get on with the business of managing the property. All works carried out are detailed on the monthly invoice, and payment into my bank account is as regular as clockwork. If there is a problem like maybe Easter, they inform you that payment might be delayed. The Tenant is well catered for, I often get asked if the Tenant can make a small change to the property to make their stay more enjoyable, I always say "yes", but Carringtons never take it for granted that I will. It is a great partnership, I sit back and relax, knowing the property is in safe hands, they do all the work." Simples".

As a landlord I have used The Carrington Partnership several times over the years in both a 'Let only' and 'fully managed' capacity. We have found that they provide an excellent service, especially finding a high standard of tenant for our property each time. From our experience so far we would not use another letting agent and would recommend them to any other landlords.

The agent was helpful from the outset to ensure that we would move in comfortable and have a comfortable start. On the few occsions that any attendance was required the agent moved things quickly so that remedials/repairs were carried out quickly giving us the minimum amount of disruption.

I rented a property from Carringtons for over 2 years and in that time I found them to be very professional, polite and efficient. They responded quickly to any issues with the house and returned my deposit in full soon after I had moved out. I would recommend them highly.
