      Everything you might want to know about us

      It all began back in 1989, in a small office in Lancaster, when John Gallagher opened his first office with a team of just one other person. His vision was clear. To build an estate agency business built on trust, ethics and transparency.

      Fast forward to today. Those basic values are still held in high regard. 'People and Property' are our two main passions. Great customer service is what we are about. We are friendly, we are approachable. We listen. We also get results. Since our beginning, we have helped over 9000 families move home.

      Generation after generation come back to us to sell their homes, which speaks volumes for itself. Landlords come to us for investment advice, after all, we are located in a thriving university city. We also get many recommendations by word of mouth and via social media, which is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.

      Now with our great team, we cover the whole of Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounding villages, taking in in Galgate, Hest Bank, Bolton, Le -sand, Halton, Caton and Brookhouse, Overton and Middleton.

      Working on the shop floor John is very much part of the team and you may well find him negotiating the offer on your own home.  With nearly 30 years of experience in local estate agency and almost 9000 completed sales under his belt,  John is able to guide the whole team with a knowledge born from experience.  

      Outside of work his interests are many and varied but they always seem to link back to the agency in the end.  Whether he is looking at innovative new ideas or new and creative ways of giving your property the exposure it deserves.

      Michelle has been valuing houses for JDG since 2001. Michelle visits the properties and wiIl advise not just on current market values, market trends and the JDG service but can answer any of your questions.       Outside of work Michelle is a amateur gardener, having just got her first greenhouse.  Home grown vegetables is the plan!  She is also a pet lover with a moody cat called Nelson and a puppy named Boots....

      Cassie joined our team back in 2006 as our office junior and quickly progressed to become a knowledgeable young lady and valued member of our team.   Today, Cassie is in charge of our office.  You'll speak to her often on the sale of your home, from booking viewings,  looking after your sale and making sure you know what is happening behind the scenes on your property sale.

      Born and bred in Halton, Cassie, like many other members of our team, is a true local girl.  Outside of work Cassie enjoys socialising, concerts (quite a Status Quo fan) and when she gets the chance trips to Ireland to visit family and her new nephew.  She is also currently planning her wedding in 2017!
