    Whether you are employed or self employed, we need to know that you are earning 30x the monthly rent as a combined household income. If you are employed we need to see your payslips with bank statements. Self Employed - we need to see your yearly accounts with bank statements.

    Make sure you are organised, if we notice a tenant is not organised then it will go against your chances of renting a property. Make sure you have your ID's, bank statements, payslips, employers reference, company accounts and references ready so that you are good to go.

    Prepare for your viewings

    Here at Keystones we pay attention to everything. We have a successful model in place so that we get the best tenants for our landlords. Make sure you arrive early or on time for your viewings. Predict the traffic! If you are running late, then please call us to tell us - it's polite! Make sure you are dressed appropriately and are punctual. We look at all of these things because we are working for our landlords mainly. So, we have to make shrewd decisions in our line of work so that we do not make mistakes.

    Inventory

    On moving into your new home, you will receive an inventory within 48 hours, this is to be signed and returned with any amendments within 7 days. Failure to do so will make the document deemed as signed. Inventory Clerks are like you, they are only human so some things may go a miss. Make sure you check everything so you won't be penalised at the end of your tenancy.

    When to Move?

    The best time to start to look for a property is just before you give your notice on a property. You need to be prepared, but don't jump the gun. Most of our landlords want tenants into the properties as soon as they're available so there are no void periods. So if you are looking 2-3 months before you are due to leave, then you are probably wasting your time. Most landlords will accept good tenants looking to move within a 14 day void of their property being vacant.

      Renting this lovely property from keystones is the best ever happened to me and no one made it possible apart from William (will). He did not discriminate, he did not beat around the Bush, he was open, he say it as it is, I have been searching for an apartment for 6 months its either the agent don't want me or the property is too expensive or the house is rubbish. When I saw this property advert on the Internet and it was displayed few hours ago immediately I called and William picked up and I told him I want to view the property that same day. He told me he had busy schedule but he will create time for me and he did just that. When I saw the property I love it but I was scared of loosing it cos I have been facing disappointment for 6months. Williams asked me if I like the house and I said I don't like it, but I Love it. Willam said OK send your papers and the house is yours immediately I sent my papers and lo and behold the house was mine.
