Lumley Estates, Radlett

A friend suggested we try Lumleys as several other local agents promised the earth and delivered very little - with poor communication and feedback also. Margaret came to see us at very short notice on a Saturday afternoon and 'knew' who the buyer was going to be. The sales paperwork was agreed by the following Thursday and our first viewing was on the Saturday morning. Following a second viewing later that day, we received an offer. And guess what, it WAS from the family that Margaret said would love our house - and they did. One aspect of what really impressed me about Margaret was her professionalism, communication and attitude to getting the job done. I am so not surprised they do so well as they do, they leave other local agents standing. To be honest I am not sure how the others get instructions ?! Would I recommend them - of course !

Peter, and indeed the whole team at Lumley Estates in Radlett, were absolutely fantastic. The sale of my elderly father's house was fraught with complications but Peter's experience, professionalism and patience and total helpfulness at all times ensured the whole family remained sane. Really professional, knowledgeable and supportive Estate Agents headed by business woman and surveyor, Margaret Towey. Even through the more challenging times we were always given consistent sound advice which helped us make some difficult decisions. Although I sold my house through them, I would have every confidence in their realistic valuations to buy one too. The excellent professional and courteous service Lumley Estates offers seems to extend throughout their office. Peter and Margaret were our main points of call however, when chancing to speak with Michael or Brett I found them also to be polite, responsive and calm. I believe this whole team to be the most effective in the area and would highly recommend them to both buyers and sellers alike.

Brett and Michael were fantastic throughout our house buying process; they were incredibly patient with us as we viewed houses (even on the third viewing!), kept us informed at all times and were extremely professional. As we got close to exchange there were a few problem up the chain but Brett worked incredibly hard to sort these out and would often phone us even when he wasn't in work when he had news to update us with. We felt very confident that they were doing all they could and we would heartily recommend them

Very impressed with Margaret and Lumleys in Radlett. We had been involved in a sales and purchase process that fell down, and Margaret, sensitive to our situation, spotted an opportunity to propose a solution that was completely tailored to us and dramatically reduced the hassle/stress factor. Totally on the ball and followed up all discussions exactly as agreed. Found it very refreshing, professional and genuine.
