    Chris Oakley - Executive Chairman

    Having founded Oakley Commercial in 1993, Chris has guided the company to grow into what is now one of the largest commercial and residential property consultancies in the Sussex area.

    He started his property career in 1983 when he joined a Lewes based multi disciplined firm of Chartered Surveyors, upon leaving sixth form. Chris obtained a broad cross section of experience but was attracted to commercial property, which is where he focused his career. Studying by day release Chris qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1990. Chris is Brighton born and bred, although now lives in Lewes, enjoys various sports and boating.

    David is born and bred in Sussex and has great knowledge and passion for the local market. David started his career as a junior negotiator with a small but well established independent agency over 12 years ago. This taught David the virtues of great customer care and loyalty when operating within a local market. Working within an independent agency David was able to grow within the company and was taught a range of skills on a professional level which led to management roles specializing in both sales and lettings. 

     Over the years David has worked hard on a variety of property types from sea front apartments, brand new developments and country homes showing an ability to adapt to every sector of the market. The personal approach is extremely important to David which is appreciated by both clients and colleagues alike. 

     David enjoys sports and recently ran the London Marathon and raised £2000 for the homeless charity Shelter. He can also be found playing in a local band often touring in the UK and Europe.

    Stephanie has an extensive insight into the property industry with knowledge of both the sales and rental market. Stephanie started her career working for a well known corporate sales agent giving her an excellent grounding in the local market. Discovering that lettings and property management was the part of the job she enjoyed most she made the move to a local independent agent running their lettings department. While carrying out the day to day running of the office Stephanie worked her way through the ARLA qualifications in a bid to improve the service and knowledge she could offer to both landlords and tenants.
