    Parker Hall is an independent estate agent with a difference. Since we opened in 2010, we're proud to have developed a strong reputation for offering our clients an exceptional level of personal service.

    Everything about us is positively different, starting with our office... a purpose-built 57 foot narrow boat at the popular Barton Marina, making us the only floating estate agency in this area, and possibly in the UK!

    Our six dedicated staff plus the director and founder of Parker Hall, Rosemarie Jones, work seamlessly across all aspects of the buying and selling process, staffing our busy office seven days a week to make sure we're around to arrange viewings, negotiate offers or answer questions when needed. We like to build good, strong relationships with our clients, so will always try to do accompanied viewings in order to give us some quality time with them, to help us understand more about their needs.

    Nothing is too much trouble at Parker Hall. In fact, we often find ourselves helping clients with many other aspects of moving home, such as being asked for recommendations about trusted professionals and good quality tradespeople... most of which one or two of us have used ourselves in the past!

The First Stages for Purchasers

    Obtain Quotes & Instruct a Solicitor

    Your chosen solicitor will need to know information such as your full name/s, current address, address of the property you are purchasing and the agreed offer figure. This information also needs to be passed to Parker Hall.

    Requesting Draft Contracts

    Your appointed solicitor will now write to the sellers solicitor to confirm they will be acting for you and to request a copy of the Draft Contract as well as any further details such as the property's title and the standard forms.

    Money Laundering & Client Care Information

    You will receive official forms which are required to be kept on file by your solicitor. These will include a Money Laundering Form confirming where funds will be obtained from, Client Care Information Pack for you to keep as part of your records and a request for Photographic Identification. The required information and forms should be returned as soon as possible to ensure the initial process starts efficiently.
