I have also sold and bought a property through Parks (-: as with the lettings department they also come highly recommended. Andy took the time to properly view my property and discuss the current market, his valuation and also listened to my thoughts. He was also really calm and understanding when things became a bit stressful with my purchase. He acted as a brilliant 'go between' with the sellers solicitors and was able to ensure the sale went through on the planned exchange and completion dates. I think the difference between Parks and other Estate Agents is the service they provide feels very personable and their communication is excellent (they always call back when they say they will - a miracle!). I used Parks to let a flat I own. The flat is very lettable so I've never bothered with an agent before. The only reason I decided to this time is because I was very busy with work and it was one less thing to deal with.I'm glad I did, as they made the process very simple and had found a tenant that met my exacting criteria within a week. Within a fortnight the tenant was moved in and I had all the paperwork taken care of and the deposit sorted without having to lift a finger.Faultless service and at half the price of the other agents I had considered. Will be using them next time I need a new tenant (though I hope that won't be for a while!).

These guys are very experienced in the area. I first bought in BS5 in 2005. Having dealt at that time with numerous estate agents, I found Parks to be the friendliest and most consistently professional (many other places at the time had very inexperienced staff on at the weekend, the only times I was able to view - I've never gone into Parks and felt like I was talking to someone who didn't have a grip on the function of the business and their clients). Although I wasn't able to buy through them at the time (house was marketed elsewhere), it was for this reason that I chose to establish a professional relationship with them in 2013 and I've not been disappointed since. Everyone I've dealt with at Parks has been courteous and friendly and when you really need someone to help you get something done, they've been on it. Parks Estate Agents come highly recommended. I have used them for a variety of services and have always found them extremely professional and their customer service is excellent.Rental Dept - I have used their introduction service for a flat I owned. They set up multiple viewings very quickly and were able to find reliable, long term tenants. They carried out all the references, sorted out the deposit and tenancy agreement and I was left feeling really assured my property would be well looked after.I have also rented a property that Parks have managed. The standard of the property was very high and Parks always made sure they carried out regular inspections. Steve from the lettings department ALWAYS responded to any repairs I reported extremely quickly and efficiently. It was really reassuring knowing if any thing did go wrong that they were only a phone call away and that they would get back to me straight away.
