    Thomas, Director and Founder
    For Thomas, presentation is everything. Having worked in corporate and independent estate agency since 1999, and running his first office at the tender age of 21, Thomas opened Ralph James in 2015. The intent behind the business was to bring the very best of marketing and services together, adding a unique edge of design and flair - from our shop, to our branding, and through everything we do.

    Back in 2011, when Thomas first came to work in Redhill and Reigate, he loved what he saw: Clearly Reigate was the traditional darling of the two towns - a beautiful and thriving place with a wonderful lifestyle, great shops and excellent schools, all surrounded by glorious countryside - but he was also struck by the variety and potential of Redhill, with its collection of neighbourhoods and villages, its incredible rail link to London and now, of course, the big plans for regenerating the centre. 

    Thomas is a keen property developer himself, and his passion for property knows no bounds. From renovating his own home to selling yours, there is no limit to the high standards implemented.

    Ashley, Director
    Born in Redhill and living here his entire life, there isn't much Ashley doesn't know about the local area. Alongside Thomas, Ashley has created Ralph James to provide a professional, comfortable and informal service. With his background in art and design, Ashley is a driving force behind the Ralph James branding and innovative marketing techniques. 

    Since 2015, Ashley has worked front of house, building the team, creating relationships with clients and driving the business' presence in the surrounding area. Well known for his personal approach and being available around the clock, many of Ashley's clients' have remained his friends long after the sale of their home.

    Ashley is passionate about property: having bought and renovated a number of his own over the years, he is currently restoring an early Edwardian house close to Redhill town centre with his young family.

    Caedi, Head of Operations, PA to Founding Director
    Caedi relocated to Redhill when buying her first home, where the lure of getting more property for your money, whilst keeping the great links into town for commuting is appealing. She now resides locally in Horley. She had what is probably the best introduction to Thomas & Ashley: they sold her house back in 2016. After remaining in touch in the years since, in 2018 the chance to act as PA to Thomas and manage the offices came up and she thought it would be a great opportunity.

    With a career history in office administration, document controlling and assisting management, since working with Thomas she's been sponsored to complete a Level 4 qualification in Business Management.

    Everyone that chooses to work with Ralph James will have communication with Caedi, she's the driving force behind the smooth running of the business; Liaising with all parties, putting together brochures, and acting as Head of Operations just a few of her responsibilities.

    In her spare time, Caedi can be found walking her dogs, working out and baking. Since the sale of her home, all completions on properties are accompanied by cupcakes baked by herself, giving the Ralph James personal touch as always.

    Nicky
    Nicky's first foray into Estate Agency came in the form of a weekend viewing guide whilst she was training at Stage School. After a short career dancing on cruise ships and abroad, she returned home and took a full time job at the same agency as a trainee negotiator. Within 18 months she was transferred to the companies flagship office in the city centre where she moved up the ranks and worked in a fast pace environment. 

    In 2008, Nicky moved to Reigate and began working for a corporate agent, where she stayed for 8 years until leaving to have her daughter. It was here that she met and formed a friendship with Thomas & Ashley. After being lucky enough to have a couple of years off as a Mummy, the timing fell into place for RJ to expand and open their second office in Reigate and Nicky jumped at the chance to join the team. 

    Nicky's happy nature and enthusiasim is a credit to the RJ name and having worked in the local area for many years, she enjoys dealing with lots of previous clients that are always happy to work with her again.

    Rebecca
    An Australian girl living in Westcott, just outside Dorking, Rebecca grew up in Melbourne; spent many years in Brisbane; then moved to the UK in 2010 after meeting an Englishman. She took a 'short break' from being an insurance fraud investigator after having a baby; then having another one; and then left corporate life. 

    Property has always been in her heart - Rebecca has renovated homes in both the UK and Australia, and helped friends with theirs - so in 2016 she took a Saturday viewings job at a Dorking estate agency: within two weeks she was full time! 

    Rebecca dealt with Ralph James in a few chains and their clients were always raving about them. Her impression was that they truly run their own race with modern marketing and their HD videos. When the Special Agent role for Dorking and the Surrey Hills came up, Rebecca took the opportunity, bringing her own marketing idea's to the business and remains excited to see how Ralph James can stay ahead in the UK property market.

    It's not unusual for Rebecca to work after hours or on Sundays, and the flexible hours mean she can be an agent when her clients need me, and a mum when her kiddies do.

    Molly
    Growing up in and around Reigate, attending Reigate college, and later graduating from the London College of Fashion with a degree in Visual Merchandising & Branding, Molly's career has progressed implementing displays for premium high street brands, until her last role as Lead Visual Stylist for four years at London's leading department store.

    You'll often see Molly around town, socialising or picking up a coffee from a local business. She has recently renovated her own home, a Victorian apartment in Reigate, completely remodelling and restoring it with ornate Parisian influences. Alongside designing her home, Molly recently founded her own homeware brand, and her interest in property and home styling grew.

    After viewing properties with Ralph James last year and loving the RJ approach - relaxed, stylish, and modern - Molly's interest was peaked. Following her redundancy in the Summer, she kept in touch with Ashley and when he spoke of expanding the team, Molly felt it was meant to be. She knew she wanted to learn, and decided to change direction and give estate agency a go. Molly's interest is in the design aspect and inspiring buyers with property potential. So far, she's loving it.

    Ashly, Marketing Manager and Content Creator
    In February 2021, Ashly was unexpectedly made redundant from a long-term role as a VM & Brand Manager. With over a decade of experience in visual merchandising and implementing brand strategies, she immediately knew that she wanted to find a company that she could get behind and invest in again.

    When introduced to Thomas, Ashly was impressed. Ralph James not only take a modern approach but hold the same values, such as innovative design and community and culture. She knew she wanted to be a part of it. 

    As a marketing manager, Ashly's role is new at Ralph James. It's ever evolving, but she's involved in everything from social media and content creation to brand strategy and promotion. With 12 years' experience behind a camera, Ashly uses photography and videography to create engaging content, inviting our clients to feel more involved than ever, sharing not only Ralph James' stock but behind the scenes and the team. 

    Outside of work you'll find Ashly renovating her first home, and often exploring with a camera in one hand and a coffee in the other. Thrilled to further develop what RJ does and be a part of taking the business to new height's through brand strategy and cutting edge promotion, you'll be seeing more of her.

    Leah, Mortgage Consultant and Protection Advisor
    Leah has been through the home buying process several times - both for buying her own home and for buy-to-let - so she know exactly what makes things simpler and stress-free. One of those things is having a mortgage consultant who is totally on the case and fully responsive.

    She always been interested in property and became a mortgage consultant and protection adviser in 2014. Since then I've helped people with regular purchases, remortgages, buying new builds, buy-to-let investments and with the Help to Buy scheme.
