    Established in 2014 by Co-Directors James Reyland & Ben Johnson, who have been recognised names within the local property industry since 2001, they felt it was a natural progression in their careers to join forces, to offer clients a traditional service in estate agency and lettings but with a fresh modern approach.

    After only one year of opening the first office in Harlow, Reyland Johnson became the highest selling agent in the town, which has continued every year since. The fast growing property management department look after more than 300 properties, which increases every month too. With the business going from strength to strength, the second office was opened in Sawbridgeworth in February 2021 and is managed by Sonny, who has been with the company since 2015.

    Our company aim is simply to provide the highest level of customer care and to exceed all our client's expectations, in return for what we feel is the most important factor of our business, which is a recommendation. We work hard to deliver an individual service to each client so as you truly feel looked after and not just another number on the corporate pile.

    We have experienced many different market conditions during our time in the industry and feel that our vast knowledge during these times will help us to be successful however the market is performing.

    As well as the day to day property related duties, we work hard to make sure we form a solid part of the community by working with schools, sports teams, local hospices and many more, offering donations, sponsorships and getting involved in fundraising and charity events.

Whether you choose a tenant find only, rent collection or full property management, you can rest assured that our service will always be at the highest level.

    We have three different types of packages that we are able to offer our landlords. Some of the services within the required package are available subject to status and additional charges*. Our fees are listed below but please feel free to contact us to discuss any of our packages in more detail.

    Introduction Only: 

    • Advertising the property to find a tenant
    • Credit check/referencing the tenant
    • Drawing up of Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement
    • Bonding of tenancy deposit within DPS
    • Arranging of (EPC) Energy performance certificate through our recommended DEA (Domestic Energy Assessor)* All properties must have a valid EPC at the point of going to market
    • Arranging of gas safety certificate through our recommended gas safe engineer*

    Rent Collection Service: 

    • Advertising the property to find a tenant

    Natasha Demetriou - Property Manager
    Natasha has worked in the property industry since 2008, specialising in property management. After working in central London for all of her property career and gaining valuable experience in her field, Natasha has recently moved to Harlow and decided to bring all of her city knowledge to her home town by joining Reyland Johnson in October 2017. Following a long and considered search for the ideal personality, Natasha is the perfect fit to work alongside Harriett in our rapidly growing lettings department. She has added valuable experience and has already proven to be a hit with our current landlords and tenants. Organised, friendly and polite, Natasha has effortlessly blended into the team and her role as a property manager.

    Beth's relationship started with Reyland Johnson back in 2014 when she purchased a property through our agency. Beth has property pedigree and found her way into property management, working for an agency in one of our neighbouring towns before our approach. She joined us with a great reputation and has proven to be knowledgeable as well as reliable and a great fit to our team.

    Ben sampled a few other career paths before falling into Estate Agency in 2001 at the age of 20 and hasn't looked back since. Born & raised in Harlow, involved in youth football, community events and the support of local charities, he is a familiar face around the town. His knowledge of Harlow is admired by fellow professionals within the industry, his desire and drive to lead from the front is infectious among his colleagues.

    James started his Estate Agency career at tender age of 14 and worked his way from 'Saturday Boy' to 'Branch Manager' in just six years. Since 2001 James has gained valuable experience in a variety of different roles within the industry and is now regarded as one of the strongest, most enthusiastic agents in the town. Always smiling and with a spring in his step he has a positive influence on the team and busy office.

    Ollie is the youngest and possibly the 'coolest' member of our team, he changes his hairstyle on a monthly basis and plays in a band at the weekend! Working alongside Jake arranging most of our viewings, there isn't a better duo in Harlow.

    Sonny Montalto - Branch Manager
    Part of the fixtures and fittings, Sonny has been with Reyland Johnson since 2015 and at the beginning of 2021 helped launch the second branch in Sawbridgeworth. Having started his agency career in a corporate estate agency, he then spent some time working with another local agent, but Sonny was keen to join Reyland Johnson. His knowledge, experience and calming influence is an asset in every part of the sales and lettings process. Sonny went to Saint Nicholas School throughout his child hood and still lives locally with his young family.

    Having worked for a local competitor for 5 years, Brandon was keen to join Reyland Johnson to open the Sawbridgeworth branch. You'll often find Brandon in and around Sawbridgeworth, having been to school and grown up in the area.

    Kobe was born on 3rd February 2021 and joined the team in our Harlow office in April 2021.       Within seconds of your details being completed we will email our active database of applicants and almost instantly it will be live, here on our website, Rightmove, Zoopla and primelocation along with many other websites. Advertising carries on with a prominent position in our shop window, a box in our double page, Harlow Star advert and regular mail shots.

      Once a sale is agreed we will regularly chase the solicitors, mortgage advisers, surveyors and other agents that may be involved in our chains. This is to ensure your transactions reaches legal completion with the minimum amount of stress to you, our client.

      One of the many specialist jobs, often overlooked in estate agency, is sale progression and Claire is an absolute expert. Caring, sympathetic & friendly, Claire efficiently progresses our sales from when solicitors are instructed through to completion and she does it with a smile on her face and a spring in her step.
