    I have worked as an Estate Agent since 1994 and I am accredited to NAEA and ARLA. Since 2003 I have been working for the company as a Senior Manager/Valuer mainly at our Stockton office, which is now our Head Office. Many highlights over the years and some amazing properties but equally met thousands of great people and helped them along their property journey. I have even appeared in 'Homes Under the Hammer' back in 2004.On 15 October 2021, I was part of the takeover of the business and am now very proud to be Managing Director where we have offices covering across the Tees Valley in Stockton, Middlesbrough, Ingleby Barwick, Darlington & Hartlepool. I am supported by an amazing team of people.On 24 November 2023 Robinsons Tees Valley was re-branded to Smith & Friends Estate Agents, the new brand I feel is fresh and dynamic which compliments my approach to business. Having seen changes in legislation, technology and not to mention the economic climate in the last 29 years, I have seen various peaks and troughs in the property industry over the years but that invaluable experience stands my team in good stead to be the agent of choice in all markets.The company is going to grow as we expand across the Tees Valley in the coming years.     Claire Etheridge - Senior Property Manager
    I have worked for the company for more than 17 years, starting as an Office Junior in our Hartlepool Office in 2006. I then took on the role of Administrator in 2008 at our Stockton office where I have been based ever since, progressing to a Lettings Negotiator and eventually Senior Property Manager in 2016. I have completed my ARLA qualification which has supported me in my role of managing properties for our Landlords. I have recently began training with our Accounts Department as I have great interest in that aspect of the role and would like to gain experience further in this area. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and like to go on long walks and breaks away to Center Parcs with my husband and daughter.

    Hayden Atkinson - Lettings Negotiator
    I recently joined the Stockton Office as a Lettings Negotiator in 2023 and I am currently managing over 180 properties alongside Claire. I originally started my career in Estate Agency as a Sales Negotiator but decided to pursue this further in lettings which has gave me knowledge of both sides. I am keen to complete my ARLA qualification over time to support me in the management of our landlords' properties. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with friends and family, going to the gym and travelling with my partner exploring new destinations.
