We'd read and been told that buying and selling through the same agent isn't necessarily a good idea - but it worked out brilliantly for us. Once we accepted an offer, Chris called us weekly to check in on progress which was appreciated. There were a few issues along the way due to our lease, but Chris kept everyone calm and stopped our buyers from pulling out. Also, the photos of our flat were fantastic and we had a lot of say in where they were taken and which we preferred, which I don't think many other agents have time to offer.
