I purchased my first investment property in Dagenham and was keen to get the flat valued and rented as quickly as possible. Having properties in Essex, which are fully managed by another agent, I was very keen to find a local company that could offer a fast, effective service, in an area that was not familiar to me. A friend of mine; a branch manager for haart in London recommended I call the Dagenham branch along with the other agencies I had planned to call, as I was not just interested in the returns, but also the quality of service and support, which I would receive. I called and spoke to a very friendly lady called Grace, who worked in the Lettings team. I explained my position and we met at the flat, to discuss service and fees in further detail. Grace arrived on time and was very friendly, yet professional. She clearly knew the rental market and explained the different levels of service you offered, however I still wanted to keep my options open and speak to two other agencies before making a decision. Grace took photos and said they were happy to start marketing straight away, as a fee would only be charged once they had found a tenant. I agreed as I had nothing to lose in a day. Grace called me and had arranged 5 viewings for later that week. Pleasantly surprised I gave haart a one week sole agency, to find me a tenant before speaking to the other agencies. We had agreed a monthly rental price, which I did not think was achievable and within a few days, Grace had held the viewings with her Manager Jodie and they had taken a holding deposit and obtained references. Grace and Jodie have been fantastic and I would have no hesitation in recommending them and haart to my family and friends. Mr S, April 2016
