iMove Property, Crystal Palace, London

Having had our first child we knew we'd have to move at some point in the near future. We had 4 local estate agents around for speculative valuations, including iMove, all of whom were confident of their valuation (and all at the same level which was reassuring) but with very different approaches in terms of the amount of effort they would go to to help the sale. One agency even said "this will sell itself" before quickly stumbling around and saying "but of course we will do a lot of work to justify our commission and yadayada..." Basically Ricky inspired us with confidence he would do what he said he would do, act with integrity, and perhaps most importantly be accessible. We did not have this confidence from the other high-street estate agents. As silly as it sounds, we had put a lot of money, time, effort, personality and love into our first property and were reluctant to sell unless it was to the right person. The right person came along (on the first day) and we're really happy he's got a great little property. It's just sad we couldn't take the property with us and make it bigger! Ricky has been fantastic from the first meeting, through to the sale, through to our own purchase and even afterwards now that he's putting us in touch with local builders and tradesmen. Again, I strongly doubt you'd get this from other agencies. He managed the chain on a daily basis, worked with us to react quickly to problems (solicitor queries, Bank requirements) and really added the kind of value I'm confident we wouldn't have got through the other agencies. That their fees were lower truly was a bonus but also made a crucial difference in that, on fairly low margins, it allowed us to move in the first place at the time that we did. Ricky more than justified their fees and went above and beyond. I've already recommended iMove to some friends in the area and I'd use them again (although I would hope we won't be moving for the mid-term now). In short I think it's a great little company with a great business model, a lot of integrity and I'm sure it will grow into a real player in SE London. For me it's also highlighted that the other traditional agencies have their business models all wrong for this current climate and I think it will lead to a mini-shakeup in the local area over the next couple of years if they keep going strong.

We had been with a large London agent for several months trying to sell our much loved house when we met Ricky from iMove. We were very stressed and sick of constant viewings coming to nothing. Ricky instantly struck us as having the qualities we were looking for - the opposite of the other agents! He was attentive, intelligent, determined and strategic. iMove were available on the phone out of office hours, and always gave feedback after viewings - without me having to ring them. They were constantly optimistic and enthusiastic about our property and got us a firm offer of the asking price within 3 weeks - as promised. Even after the offer, Ricky didn't rest on his Laurels - he kept in touch about all that was happening and supported us through the whole process. I only met George once, but he also had the same polite, enthusiastic attitude - these boys will go far! I would happily recommend iMove highly to anyone trying to sell their house

I arranged for 4 local agents in Crystal Palace to value my property. Instantly the professionalism and local knowledge from iMove shone through. I chose to market my house with iMove, within a few days I was under offer! I must say my advert on Rightmove blew my competition out of the water, the photographs were lovely. Ricky and George were always helpful and answered any questions immediately that I had. After reading the other reviews on here I was not disappointed with the service I received. I would like to say to anyone reading this, give iMove a shot! They will not let you down and they'll save you a large amount on the extortionate fees of the larger agents in Crystal Palace. First class service from genuinely friendly and polite gentlemen.

Ricky and George have been absolutely superb over the last 5 years I have known them. I am very particular with who I trust and work with. I have a busy life and they sort out of my property troubles from finding a tenant, selling and property management. You can trust their advice on the market and have always exceeded my expectations. When they give me a market value for sales/rent - They are always accurate and if anything underestimate. Without them I wouldn't be able to have a property portfolio. These are nice guys you can trust. They have let my properties often with no void periods ! - The tenants have always paid the rent on time and kept the property in good conditions and they have sold properties for me with minimal stress with speed.

I would highly recommend imove...I have recently let my property through them. They were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful to me as a first time landlord ..I felt they offered a far more personal service than the corporate agents and secured a quality tenant on the first day of marketing the property and at the full market value.I would not hesitate to use them again which is the best testament I can give about a letting agent.great job !

I have been using i Move for five years. I discovered them by chance, just walking in off the street. They advised me on the type of rental properties to buy, masterminded the refurbishment of one property and helped with the Completion of the second purchase (as I was unexpectedly abroad) and then let both flats immediately.
