Our market share continued to increase throughout 2014 which reflects our continued drive to improve the service we offer our clients. In his Autumn Statement the Chancellor, George Osborne, at a stroke righted many wrongs concerning stamp duty - a huge 98 per cent of home buyers will benefit. At the lower end of the market it should add fresh impetus in 2015. Come the election in May, our minds will be on the ramifications of any new ruling party or coalition and the move to greater devolution and regional control may begin to make itself felt."
