Southville and Bedminster are booming. Close to the attractions of the harbour and walking distance to Bristol city centre, the area also has some very good schools, attractive period terraced houses and smart flats. And don't forget the great shopping, pubs and restaurants.
There are some lovely parks in the area, many with children's play areas. Bedminster has a city farm and Southville, its arts venue, the Tobacco Factory.
While you can walk into the city centre, if you prefer to cycle, a cycle path runs between Bedminster and the city centre.
