I initially used a local estate agent believing a local name and knowledge would be the best way to go, but found they were very unproductive and only acted in a reactive way to prospective buyers. Also, as they worked off a percentage of the sale they pushed me to under-price my house for a quick sale as the margin for them was barely affected. I then contacted haart Newark and Jo came to visit the property. She had a very positive, forward manner with a clear plan and a higher valuation; she placed £12,000 more on the property price, so, a big difference to me. Unfortunately a few days later I had remove my house from the market. A year later and time to sell again; my only call was to Jo at haart. Straight away she remembered the property and a few days later, before even going on the market it was sold for the full asking price £13,000 more than the other estate agent had advised. Unfortunately that sale fell through but the team were straight back on it and again within 72 hours it was sold again. My main contact was Saffron who was great. Saffron was very professional in her manner and her knowledge, which was both relaxed and informative. I was updated every week, never rushed if I had any questions. I can't fault anyone at the Newark team they all played a part at some stage and all displayed the same high level of customer service. haart fees are a little higher than most but it is definitely worth it for the pro-active activity they take and they certainly will get you the true market value for your property.I can't recommend them enough and have shared my positive experience a number of times already!
