Last year most property sales in Mid Wales involved detached properties which sold for on average £336,795. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £202,540, while terraced properties fetched £169,487.
Mid Wales, with an overall average price of £272,427 was more expensive than nearby North Wales (£232,324), South Wales (£245,750) and West Wales (£236,271). The priciest area within Mid Wales was Powys (£271,564) and the least expensive was Ceredigion (£257,165).
During the last year, sold prices in Mid Wales were similar to the previous year and similar to 2022 when the average house price was £268,417.
