Moray, with an overall average price of £213,844, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Orkney (£209,033), but was more expensive than Western Isles (£160,643) and cheaper than Highland (£235,272). The priciest area within Moray was Findhorn (£405,167) and the least expensive was Rothes (£138,727).
During the last year, sold prices in Moray were similar to the previous year and 62% down on 2008 when the average house price was £556,980.
