Most of the sales in Suffolk over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £459,089. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £283,434 and terraced properties averaged at £241,962.
Suffolk, with an overall average price of £325,428 was more expensive than nearby Norfolk (£305,422), but was cheaper than Essex (£421,190) and Cambridgeshire (£376,165). The most expensive area within Suffolk was Walberswick (£723,749) and the cheapest was Brandon (£222,924).
In the past year house prices in Suffolk were 3% down on the year before and 5% down on 2022 when they averaged at £341,073.
