Last year most property sales in Bangor involved terraced properties which sold for on average £132,389. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £168,259, while detached properties fetched £271,565.
Bangor, with an overall average price of £175,173, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Y Felinheli (£172,823) and Y Felinheli (£173,376), but was cheaper than Tregarth (£222,636).
During the last year, sold prices in Bangor were similar to the previous year and 3% up on 2008 when the average house price was £169,588.
