Last year most property sales in Barnet involved flats which sold for on average £467,198. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £811,792, while terraced properties fetched £625,307.
Barnet, with an overall average price of £685,209, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Haringey (£676,983), but was more expensive than Enfield (£463,566) and cheaper than Islington (£750,605). The priciest area within Barnet was Hampstead Garden Suburb (£1,577,595) and the least expensive was Burnt Oak (£407,339).
During the last year, sold prices in Barnet were 10% up on the previous year and 20% up on 2015 when the average house price was £573,128.
