Last year most property sales in Barrow-In-Furness involved terraced properties which sold for on average £99,422. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £164,716, while detached properties fetched £267,113.
Barrow-In-Furness, with an overall average price of £141,373 was more expensive than nearby Walney (£133,292) and Dalton-In-Furness (£128,651), but was cheaper than Askam-In-Furness (£184,064).
During the last year, sold prices in Barrow-In-Furness were 8% up on the previous year and 19% up on 2015 when the average house price was £119,154.
