The majority of sales in Bretherton during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £194,917. Detached properties sold for an average of £373,500, with semi-detached properties fetching £268,000.
Bretherton, with an overall average price of £252,125, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Much Hoole (£264,642), but was more expensive than Croston (£215,797) and Tarleton (£225,255).
Overall sold prices in Bretherton over the last year were 27% down on the previous year and 42% down on the 2014 level of £435,929.
