Last year most property sales in Brockenhurst involved detached properties which sold for on average £940,978. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £677,700, while flats fetched £273,000.
Brockenhurst, with an overall average price of £725,932 was more expensive than nearby New Forest (£447,482), Sway (£576,261) and Lyndhurst (£426,353).
During the last year, sold prices in Brockenhurst were 15% up on the previous year and 8% up on 2011 when the average house price was £672,591.
