Last year most property sales in Castle Bromwich involved terraced properties which sold for on average £159,789. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £233,984, while detached properties fetched £300,055.
Castle Bromwich, with an overall average price of £198,838, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Minworth (£201,126), but was more expensive than Shard End (£157,685) and Hodge Hill (£188,298).
During the last year, sold prices in Castle Bromwich were 6% up on the previous year and 20% up on 2015 when the average house price was £165,637.
