Most of the sales in Cheslyn Hay over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £180,011. Detached properties had an average sold price of £294,309 and terraced properties averaged at £157,164.
Cheslyn Hay, with an overall average price of £202,298 was more expensive than nearby Cannock (£176,991) and Norton Canes (£179,666), but was cheaper than Essington (£227,150).
In the past year house prices in Cheslyn Hay were similar to the year before and 9% up on 2008 when they averaged at £185,796.
