Most of the sales in Cheslyn Hay over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £188,071. Detached properties had an average sold price of £301,481 and terraced properties averaged at £153,626.
Cheslyn Hay, with an overall average price of £208,979 was more expensive than nearby Cannock (£177,712) and Norton Canes (£183,323), but was cheaper than Essington (£231,827).
In the past year house prices in Cheslyn Hay were 3% up on the year before and 12% up on 2008 when they averaged at £185,796.
