The majority of sales in Chilbolton during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £1,017,600. Terraced properties sold for an average of £391,667, with semi-detached properties fetching £270,000.
Chilbolton, with an overall average price of £597,042, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Stockbridge (£576,385), but was more expensive than Andover (£283,629) and Sutton Scotney (£547,611).
Overall sold prices in Chilbolton over the last year were 5% down on the previous year and 16% down on the 2011 level of £706,715.
There were only 12 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
