Most of the sales in Clayhall over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £487,558. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £518,229 and flats averaged at £280,742.
Clayhall, with an overall average price of £465,316 was more expensive than nearby Barkingside (£430,825) and Fullwell Cross (£429,304), but was cheaper than Redbridge (£503,373).
In the past year house prices in Clayhall were similar to the year before and 19% up on 2015 when they averaged at £390,375.
