Last year most property sales in Compton involved detached properties which sold for on average £442,980. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £561,667, while semi-detached properties fetched £352,475.
Compton, with an overall average price of £430,404 was cheaper than nearby Streatley (£946,929), Hermitage (£494,143) and Chieveley (£808,333).
During the last year, sold prices in Compton were 4% down on the previous year and 13% up on 2012 when the average house price was £382,234.
