Last year most property sales in Cressington involved terraced properties which sold for on average £153,761. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £251,739, while flats fetched £91,839.
Cressington, with an overall average price of £197,155, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wirral (£188,443), but was more expensive than Liverpool (£159,219) and cheaper than Woolton (£272,071).
During the last year, sold prices in Cressington were 4% up on the previous year and similar to 2012 when the average house price was £194,349.
