Most of the sales in Dawlish over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £353,747. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £215,313 and flats averaged at £144,987.
Dawlish, with an overall average price of £253,536 was more expensive than nearby Starcross (£239,484), but was cheaper than Teignmouth (£266,338) and Shaldon (£451,341).
In the past year house prices in Dawlish were 5% up on the year before and 16% up on 2015 when they averaged at £218,821.
