Last year most property sales in Doddinghurst involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £406,792. Detached properties sold for an average price of £605,909, while terraced properties fetched £420,000.
Doddinghurst, with an overall average price of £487,060 was more expensive than nearby Kelvedon Hatch (£457,065) and Pilgrims Hatch (£406,323), but was cheaper than Shenfield (£691,780).
During the last year, sold prices in Doddinghurst were 13% down on the previous year and 5% up on 2015 when the average house price was £462,123.
