The majority of sales in Dolgellau during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £146,933. Detached properties sold for an average of £227,182, with semi-detached properties fetching £165,220.
Dolgellau, with an overall average price of £170,818, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Barmouth (£170,101), but was more expensive than Fairbourne (£90,864) and cheaper than Arthog (£182,000).
Overall sold prices in Dolgellau over the last year were 12% up on the previous year and 3% up on the 2006 level of £166,154.
