Most of the sales in Drimpton over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £401,150. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £246,500 and terraced properties averaged at £237,500.
Drimpton, with an overall average price of £306,575 was more expensive than nearby Crewkerne (£205,744) and Winsham (£247,636), but was cheaper than Broadwindsor (£358,571).
In the past year house prices in Drimpton were 3% down on the year before and 9% down on 2015 when they averaged at £337,111.
There were only 8 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
